Todd Tyminski, DC, DAAPM

Chiropractic Physician, President

Dr. Tyminski is a highly respected chiropractic physician and healthcare leader, currently serving as President of Total Health, a position from which he drives strategic initiatives and advocates for excellence in patient care. Dr. Tyminski, known as “Dr. T” to many of his patients, received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College. In 2022, Dr. Tyminski joined the Disc Centers of America network. This nationwide network brings to Total Health extensive and continued Spinal Decompression research, enhances patient education and ensures the latest technology is available to the community suffering from back or neck pain. Consultations with Dr. Tyminski are available in both the Florham Park and Berkeley Heights offices

Sam Locatelli, MD

Medical Director

Sam Locatelli, MD, is a distinguished medical professional with over 30 years of experience in healthcare and clinical practice. As the Medical Director at Total Health, Dr. Locatelli plays a pivotal role in steering the organization towards excellence in patient care and operational efficiency. With office hours in both Berkeley Heights and Florham Park, Dr. Locatelli remains actively involved in patient care by performing therapeutic injections overseeing therapy plans of care.

Laurie Sheppard, BSN, RN, DC

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Laurie Sheppard has been part of the Total Health team delivering warm, well-rounded and top-tier chiropractic treatments for over 19 years. Based in the Florham Park location, she uses non-force techniques for the cervical and lumbar spine, flexion and distraction and offers a “gentle” adjustment to our patient base. Additionally, Dr. Sheppard brings knowledge of pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care to our practice. She practiced as a nurse for 10 years prior to becoming a chiropractor. Combining her medical background with her chiropractic expertise offers her patients a whole body healing approach. In Dr. Sheppard’s spare time, you can catch her on the pickleball courts.

Robert Dorn, DC

Chiropractic Physician, President

Dr. Robert Dorn is a distinguished chiropractor renowned for integrating Applied Kinesiology (AK) into comprehensive patient care. With a deep commitment to holistic healing and wellness, Dr. Dorn utilizes AK to assess and treat patients by evaluating their structural, chemical, and emotional health. Trained extensively in AK methodologies, Dr. Dorn employs muscle testing as a diagnostic tool to identify imbalances and determine personalized treatment plans. He specializes in addressing a wide range of conditions, from musculoskeletal issues to nutritional deficiencies and stress-related ailments. He has been a part of the Total Health team for over 15 years. Dr. Dorn is in the Berkeley Heights office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Brielle Cook. MSN, ACNPC-AG

Nurse Practitioner

Brielle joined Total Health as our lead Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner where her passion for caring for others, as well as making her clients feel their best, is a top priority. Certified in fillers, laser treatments, microneedling, neurotoxins (like Botox, Jeuveau), and CoolSculpting, Brielle’s diverse knowledge and passion for aesthetics will have you feeling your best. Her conservative approach allows new patients to feel comfortable starting to receive aesthetic services. Brielle’s Aesthetics Suite is located in the Florham Park office.

Eric Franchino, DC

Chiropractic Physician

Dr. Eric Franchino DC, DACNB, FABVR, FACFN has 15 years experience as a chiropractic physician and has been with Total Health for the past two years. Together with the team at Total Health, Dr. Franchino brings a whole-body healing approach to deliver the best chiropractic care for our patients. He uses diversified as well as low force techniques to help adjust our patients. Additionally, he has a strong background in neurology and vestibular rehabilitation as well.

Florence Sunga

Medical/Therapy Aide

Florence (“Jheng”) has been assisting patients as a patient care advocate and liaison at Total Health for over 10 years. She brings a commitment to ensuring quality care to every patient in the Florham Park rehabilitation floor. Additionally, Jheng assists Dr. Locatelli with medical procedures such as injections to ensure patients are comfortable and at ease.

Gabriella Dotro, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Gabriella “Gabby” is an OT graduate from Seton Hall University. Her patient-centered treatments focus on maximizing independence and getting her patients back to a healthy and pain-free lifestyle. She has a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation and her clinical interests include joint rehabilitation along with muscle and nerve/tendon injuries.

Alexa

Medical/Therapy Aide

Alexa is a compassionate patient care advocate with a strong background in caregiving and a deep commitment to improving the lives of others. With over three years of experience as a caregiver in an assisted living facility, Alexa brings a wealth of hands-on knowledge to her current role at Total Health. She partners with Occupational and Physical Therapists to encourage and support patients on their journey toward better health and a more fulfilling lifestyle.

Outside of her professional work, Alexa enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, finding peace and joy in nature. Her passion for helping others extends beyond her career—Alexa is most fulfilled when she can make a real difference in someone’s life.

Angela Cardenas, DPT

Physical Therapist

Angela Cardenasis a Doctor of Physical Therapy and has been working at Total Health for over 20 years. Her compassion and gentle bedside manner has helped thousands of patients get back to pain free living. Dr. Cardenas specializes in treating musculoskeletal conditions, neurological conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic pain. She provides individualized care to help patients improve mobility, reduce pain and achieve long-term wellness. Dr. Cardenas is fluent in English and Spanish.

Kelly BeShaw, DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Kelly Beshaw is a licensed chiropractor in New Jersey and Georgia, dedicated to helping patients reduce pain, restore function, and achieve long-term wellness through personalized, evidence-based care. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University after completing a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Dr. Beshaw treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions using techniques including Diversified, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Thompson, SOT, extremity adjusting, and spinal decompression. As an Associate Chiropractor at Total Health Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Center and a former collegiate lacrosse player, she is passionate about movement, injury prevention, and helping patients maintain an active, healthy lifestyle.

Janet Magracia, PT

Physical Therapist

Janet is a dedicated and compassionate licensed physical therapist treating patients in our Florham Park location. Janet has training and expertise in many fields of rehabilitation, including geriatric, pediatric, orthopedic, neurologic, vestibular, injury, and postoperative. Janet’s profound commitment to restoring mobility, function, and quality of life for patients is a large reason patient’s return to her with new conditions or ailments. Janet has been with Total Health for over a decade, bringing her supportive and encouraging energy to the team and helping to promote healing.

Rebecca Dykeman, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Rebecca Dykeman, MS, OTR/L, is a compassionate Occupational Therapist who is dedicated to helping patients regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy most. She believes that every patient deserves individualized care and works closely with each person to create treatment plans that support their unique goals and lifestyle.

Rebecca earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University and has experience treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions in outpatient rehabilitation. She is passionate about empowering patients through education, encouragement, and evidence-based care, helping them build confidence throughout their recovery journey.

In her spare time, Rebecca can be found reading, hiking and spending time with her family and her dog.

April Zhang, L.Ac.

Acupuncturist

Specializing in pain management, fertility support, and stress relief, April brings traditional Chinese Medicine to the Florham Park location. April utilizes acupuncture as well as other traditional Chinese medicine modalities like herbal therapy, cupping, and moxibustion to address a wide range of health concerns. April emphasizes a patient-centered approach, tailoring treatments to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.
