Sam Locatelli, MD, is a distinguished medical professional with over 30 years of experience in healthcare and clinical practice. As the Medical Director at Total Health, Dr. Locatelli plays a pivotal role in steering the organization towards excellence in patient care and operational efficiency. With office hours in both Berkeley Heights and Florham Park, Dr. Locatelli remains actively involved in patient care by performing therapeutic injections overseeing therapy plans of care.

Dr. Tyminski is a highly respected chiropractic physician and healthcare leader, currently serving as President of Total Health, a position from which he drives strategic initiatives and advocates for excellence in patient care. Dr. Tyminski, known as “Dr. T” to many of his patients, received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College. In 2022, Dr. Tyminski joined the Disc Centers of America network. This nationwide network brings to Total Health extensive and continued Spinal Decompression research, enhances patient education and ensures the latest technology is available to the community suffering from back or neck pain. Consultations with Dr. Tyminski are available in both the Florham Park and Berkeley Heights offices

Dr. Laurie Sheppard has been part of the Total Health team delivering warm, well-rounded and top-tier chiropractic treatments for over 19 years. Based in the Florham Park location, she uses non-force techniques for the cervical and lumbar spine, flexion and distraction and offers a “gentle” adjustment to our patient base. Additionally, Dr. Sheppard brings knowledge of pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care to our practice. She practiced as a nurse for 10 years prior to becoming a chiropractor. Combining her medical background with her chiropractic expertise offers her patients a whole body healing approach. In Dr. Sheppard’s spare time, you can catch her on the pickleball courts.

Dr. Robert Dorn is a distinguished chiropractor renowned for integrating Applied Kinesiology (AK) into comprehensive patient care. With a deep commitment to holistic healing and wellness, Dr. Dorn utilizes AK to assess and treat patients by evaluating their structural, chemical, and emotional health. Trained extensively in AK methodologies, Dr. Dorn employs muscle testing as a diagnostic tool to identify imbalances and determine personalized treatment plans. He specializes in addressing a wide range of conditions, from musculoskeletal issues to nutritional deficiencies and stress-related ailments. He has been a part of the Total Health team for over 15 years. Dr. Dorn is in the Berkeley Heights office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Dr. Eric Franchino DC, DACNB, FABVR, FACFN has 15 years experience as a chiropractic physician and has been with Total Health for the past two years. Together with the team at Total Health, Dr. Franchino brings a whole-body healing approach to deliver the best chiropractic care for our patients. He uses diversified as well as low force techniques to help adjust our patients. Additionally, he has a strong background in neurology and vestibular rehabilitation as well.

Brielle joined Total Health as our lead Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner where her passion for caring for others, as well as making her clients feel their best, is a top priority. Certified in fillers, laser treatments, microneedling, neurotoxins (like Botox, Jeuveau), and CoolSculpting, Brielle's diverse knowledge and passion for aesthetics will have you feeling your best. Her conservative approach allows new patients to feel comfortable starting to receive aesthetic services. Brielle’s Aesthetics Suite is located in the Florham Park office.

Beth has been treating patients at Total Health for more than 15 years. She is currently treating patients out of the Berkeley Heights facility. She brings extensive physical therapy experience, certification in the McKenzie method and a commitment to quality care to every patient she treats. Beth is passionate about patient education and empowerment. She strives to educate patients about their conditions and collaborates closely with them to achieve their rehabilitation goals. In her spare time, you can find Beth with her husband, sons and extended family.

Janet is a dedicated and compassionate licensed physical therapist treating patients in our Florham Park location. Janet has training and expertise in many fields of rehabilitation, including geriatric, pediatric, orthopedic, neurologic, vestibular, injury, and postoperative. Janet’s profound commitment to restoring mobility, function, and quality of life for patients is a large reason patient’s return to her with new conditions or ailments. Janet has been with Total Health for over a decade, bringing her supportive and encouraging energy to the team and helping to promote healing.

She is committed to continuing education and staying abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Occupational Therapist
Rose is an OT graduate from Columbia University. She is a compassionate occupational therapist (OTR/L) with a passion for helping individuals achieve independence and improve their quality of life. As an occupational therapist, Rose works collaboratively with our physical therapists and patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address functional limitations and promote engagement in meaningful activities. You can often find her asking patients “What do you like to do and how can I help you do that again?” She is skilled in therapeutic techniques aimed at enhancing daily living skills, fine motor coordination, cognitive function, and sensory integration.

Isaiah is a Physical Therapy Assistant committed to assisting patients in their rehabilitation journey to regain mobility and improve their quality of life. He plays a vital role in implementing treatment plans under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. Isaiah completed his Associate’s Degree from Essex County College's PTA Program in 2022. He hopes to help everyone reach their health goals and better their quality of life so that they can focus on what's important. In his spare time, you can find Isaiah combining his love of videography with social media platforms.

Specializing in pain management, fertility support, and stress relief, April brings traditional Chinese Medicine to the Florham Park location. April utilizes acupuncture as well as other traditional Chinese medicine modalities like herbal therapy, cupping, and moxibustion to address a wide range of health concerns. April emphasizes a patient-centered approach, tailoring treatments to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Shumin has been practicing acupuncture since 2013 in New Jersey as a licensed acupuncturist. She is well-loved by her patients and analyzes the underlying causes of the patients’ symptoms. Shumin uses holistic treatments tailoring each individual patient and specializes in treating migraines, anxiety, depression, frozen shoulders, lower back pain, and cervicalgia (neck pain). ShuMin currently treats her patients out of the Berkeley Heights facility.

Mike is Total Health’s therapy aide in our Berkeley Heights location. He is a graduate from Kean University in Pre-PT and is certified in Personal Training. Mike's goal at Total Health is to help as many patients as he can and at the same time help out the PTs and OTs so they can do their best as well. Mike brings a strong physical strengthening knowledge to the Total Health team.

Florence ("Jheng") has been assisting patients as a patient care advocate and liaison at Total Health for over 10 years. She brings a commitment to ensuring quality care to every patient in the Florham Park rehabilitation floor. Additionally, Jheng assists Dr. Locatelli with medical procedures such as injections to ensure patients are comfortable and at ease.
